Just thought of sharing few football stamps from my collection in spirit of the FIFA World Cup 2014.
Guatemala released the following stamp in 1948 to commemorate the CCCF Championship football tournament. These tournaments were conducted for Central American and Caribbean countries between 1941 and 1961. Guatemala was the host country for the 1948 tournament and they were the runner-ups.

Uruguay released the following stamps when it won the 1950 Football World Cup that was held in Brazil.

The Federation of South Arabia released the following stamp when it participated in the 1966 Football World Cup. The following year the federation was abolished to form South Yemen.

England released the following stamp on Bobby Moore who was the team captain when England won the 1966 cup. He is regarded as the greatest defender in football history.

India released the following stamp on Mohun Bagan Football Club, which is one of the oldest football club. The club was established in 1889. In this club, all players play barefoot as depicted in the stamp!

Brazil released the following stamp in 2001 to commemorate one of the successful football clubs in Brazilian football, Clube de Regatas do Flamengo. This club was voted as the most successful football clubs of the 20th century by FIFA.
